20 Fast Growing Flowers
#youtubeshorts #floweringplants #bloom #flowers
Foliage plants are fine but it is the flowers we all want! And if we get them sooner, like without waiting for too long after planting would be great, right? Well, you are in for a treat!
Sweet Alyssum
Sweet Alyssum flowers are fast and low-growing. Planted from seed, they’ll sprout in just a couple of weeks and be showering you with those lovely honey-scented blooms in about 6-8 weeks.
Calendula
Calendula flowers are just as fast as Sweet Alyssum. Plant them from seed and watch for sprouts in a week or two. They don’t need much care, either, and will thrive once they sprout, giving you flowers in 7-8 weeks.
Snapdragons
These fast growing flowers will surely amaze you with their sheer height! Snapdragons come in gorgeous shades of pink, white, or red, and usually take 8-10 weeks after planting to start flowering.
Nasturtiums
Nasturtiums are great when it comes to speedy growth. If you’re planting one of these from seeds, they’ll sprout in about a week. Just care for them and you’ll see the edible flowers appearing within 2 months.
Annual Phlox
Annual Phlox might not be as fast-growing as nasturtiums, but these flowers do grow quickly. They take their sweet time before flowering, but the 8-10 week wait is totally worth it because the flowers keep spreading their scent all summer long!
Wax Begonia
Wax Begonias are also fast growing flowers. Why? Well, they sprout in just 10-15 days and start flowering in about 10 weeks. But hey, no need to worry! While they might be a little slower, wax begonias are known for being low-maintenance.
Cornflowers
Cornflowers are a happy medium between speedy and slow in the flower world. They’re not quite as fast as some of the others we’ve talked about, but they’re not slouches either! You’ll see them flowering about 8-10 weeks after planting the seeds.
Daffodils
If you reside in a zone that does not experience any huge rainfall or scorching temperatures, you may want to pick Daffodils. You can find this flower that grows fast in orange, yellow, or white shades, and it begins flowering in just 4-6 weeks!
Marigold
It is always a safe bet to put your money on this fast grower-Marigold. These flowers are ready in about 6-8 weeks from sowing. But if you can get your hands on a cutting, the wait will be even less!
Nigella
Nigella is also called Love-in-a-Mist and produces beautiful pastel blooms bordered by lacy foliage. These flowers sprout in just 2-3 weeks and fill your garden with its beauty in about 2-3 months.
Johnny Jump-ups
Johnny Jump-ups sprout quickly from seed and keep blooming all through spring and even into fall. Just give them some well-drained soil and plenty of light-they’ll paint your garden with vibrant purples, yellows, and whites in no time!
Impatiens
Impatiens are also called Touch-Me-Not, and usually grow up to 2-3 feet tall. These flowers are really pretty, and the seeds mature in about 8 weeks. People say that they grow even more quickly if you plant them close to each other. Do try it!
Cosmos
Cosmos is known to be considered out of this world, and you can choose to grow these fairly quickly. From planting the seeds to when the first flowers appear, the total time is about 50-60 days, so they’re really fast growing flowers.
Sunflower
There are only a handful of flowers that can match the beauty of Sunflowers. The seeds are really quick to germinate and only take about a week. Sunflower buds form around 5-10 weeks after sowing. They will then take an additional 8-10 days to open and reveal the glorious blooms we all know and love!

A grafted mango tree in the USA is $100 or more depends on the variety. This video gives hope but be sure to take into consideration the type of soil to use in the pot to ensure success. Mangos require well drained soil to avoid root rot. Mix soil with sand, gravel, perlite or wood chip.

Pretty vines, however you didn't include any information regarding the vines' hardiness zone or whether or not the vine is considered invasive in some countries.

I won't be using this, except for possibly spraying for mold on a citrus. (However Neem and Dr Bronners would work just as well) 1 tablespoon won't break the bank. With good natural yogurt at almost 10.00 a quart, I will be putting it IN my body instead. lol. BTW. do NOT spray your plants when the sun is out or before rain. I would also be concerned about ants, that bring lots of pests to plants, aphids fir one.
